NEWEST Rotary Member:  Jen Breaker.  Tom Standring introduced our newest member to the club.  Jen is the Assistant Town Manager for the Town of Danvers.
Guest Speaker:  Dr. David Helfand, LifeWise
Dr. Helfand grew up in Vermont and now lives with his wife and 2 year old daughter in Wenham.  Dr. Helfand specializes in alternative (to drugs/medication) medicines by working with clients young and old that have ADHD, concussions, anxiety, lime disease, stress, dementia, Alzheimer’s, anger issues, depression, chronic pain, communication issues and sleep issues.  For more information please visit their website

  •          Farmers Market – Is official over for the season
  •          Unsung Hero’s Breakfast – The club is looking to have a table for this honorary breakfast.  November 8th.  Please let Jacki if you would like to represent our club
  •          President Jacki – looking for service project ideas for the year. 
  •          Polar Plunge – If you are interested in representing Rotary at the upcoming plunge – please see President Jacki.  So far we have Jacki, Marybeth and Johnny signed up to take the plunge.  The club would like to support or plungers
  •          Dictionary Distribution – this month we will start distributing dictionaries throughout the Danvers Schools and we will need volunteers.  Gary Nangle is working on a schedule and will get back to us shortly.
  •          Raffles – Don Desmond and Jackie are organizing a couple of Rotary Raffle Fundraisers.  One may be a trip to Italy.  Coming very soon. 
  •          Raffle - 2 tickets to the Bruins, Night at the Bostonian and Dinner at Al Dente.  Only 500 tickets to be sold.  Value is $900.  Drawing will be held on December 13th Tickets were distributed at today’s meeting. Each member should sell 12 or more tickets to make this event a BIG success.  Thank you to Dan for donating the tickets.
  •          Coat Drive – Matt had some boxes he brought to Rotary.  Those interested in collecting or donating coats please let Matt know.  The coats will be brought to the Salvation Army.  This week Shelly Sullivan brought some flyers and reminded our members were to drop off coats.  Coats should be NEW to SEMI NEW.
