2020 Danvers Rotary Open Market
We will update everyone on the status of the 2020 Open Market once we have clear instructions from the town regarding group gatherings this summer in Danvers.
Danvers Rotary is excited to announce another year of the market running July 8th – August 26th on the grounds of Danvers Library in collaboration with the Danvers Recreation Summer Concert Series.
The market will be on Wednesday as usual from 4:30-7PM. The market will be open to local produce and food vendors as well as a wide range of local entrepreneurs. There will be activities for kids and families and an increased number of food trucks and food vendors.
This is the 22nd year of concerts for Danvers Recreation at Rotary Pavilion and they attract 500-800 attendees per show and the 2nd year for our new market location. For local businesses that support the market it will mean dual exposure for your brand.
Funds raised during the market will go to support Rotary causes in Danvers and around the world.
In 2019 Danvers Rotary:

Provided $6,000 in Scholarships to worthy seniors at DHS and Essex Tech

Funded a $1,000 vocational scholarship thru NS Community College

Provide YMCA summer campership tuition for at-risk youth

Donated 250 pairs of socks the Boston Rescue mission for the homeless.

Supported surgeries around the world for children with cleft palates – and sent our own Danvers Rotarian, Brian Ahern, to the Philippines to assist in the surgeries.

Support the eradication of Polio around the world that has been a mission of Rotary since the 1980’s.
