President's Letter
Dear Danvers Community,
The Danvers Rotary Club has been an important part of the Danvers community. Over the years our Club has been actively involved in making Danvers a better place to live, visit, shop, own a business, make friends, network, and support community projects.
Our construction of the Rotary Pavilion by the library, and our numerous donations to Endicott Park including a new picnic pavilion, an apple orchard, benches, and major contributions for renovations to the Children’s Barn and the Nature Center. We made improvements to the Choate Farm conservation area including picnic tables and benches and a new parking lot, and improvements to the swamp walk and rail trail. We GIVE thousands of dollars in scholarships each year to High School Seniors from Danvers, helped fund the playground at Great Oak School, contributed to the media room at Danvers High School and installed a flag pole at Dr. Deering Stadium. We provided funds for the Danvers YMCA Gymnasium, the YMCA Renovation Project, and donated to the Food Pantry. The list goes on and on. The Danvers Rotary Club is a volunteer service organization of business professionals either working or having interest in Danvers. As part of a worldwide organization, with a mission of “Service Above Self”, we are people of action for our community and beyond.
With your help Danvers Rotary will continue worthy causes and activities. The club is grateful for your support we receive and give to the Danvers community. If you are interested in being part of our non-profit organization, please reach out to us.
